On May 11, 2025, the heart of Budapest—Szabadság Square—was filled with energy and celebration as the city marked the 21st anniversary of Hungary’s accession to the European Union. The all-day festival featured concerts, a running race, and a wide variety of programs for families and the general public.

The LibCommon project was proudly present within a shared activity space, offering engaging and educational materials for visitors of all ages. Children and adults alike took part in themed crosswords, collected stickers, and discovered how LibCommon promotes civic engagement, participatory democracy, and open access to learning.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with citizens, share our mission, and celebrate the values that unite us in a common European future. Thank you to everyone who visited us—we look forward to continuing to build stronger, more inclusive communities together!
